THE PEACEFUL PLACE YOGA

Gentle Yoga Classes Near Long Sutton, Holbeach and Sutton Bridge

Welcome to The Peaceful Place Yoga.

If you’re looking for a gentle, welcoming yoga class where you can move, breathe and reconnect with yourself, you’re in the right place.

I offer gentle Hatha yoga classes in Gedney and Lutton, as well as live online classes via Zoom. Whether you’re completely new to yoga, returning after a break, or simply looking for a calmer approach, my classes are designed to help you feel stronger, more balanced and more at ease in both body and mind.

My classes aren’t about achieving the perfect pose. They’re an opportunity to become more aware of yourself through movement, breath and mindful attention. To notice what is happening beneath the noise of everyday life and create space to respond with greater ease and clarity.

YOGA FOR REAL PEOPLE

You do not need to be flexible.

You do not need expensive yoga clothes.

You do not need any previous experience.

My classes are suitable for beginners and anyone who prefers a slower, more supportive style of yoga.

Every posture is an invitation and you’re encouraged to work at your own pace, listening to your body and taking what you need from the practice.

Many students come to class to help with:

• Stress and anxiety

• Menopause and midlife wellbeing

• Stiffness and reduced mobility

• Back, neck and hip tension

• Strength, balance and confidence

• Better sleep and relaxation

• Creating time and space for themselves

WEEKLY YOGA CLASSES

I currently teach weekly classes at:

• Gedney Victory Hall

For those who cannot attend in person, I also offer live online yoga class via Zoom Tuesdays at 18:30

Online classes are perfect if you:

• Feel nervous about joining an in-person class

Steph

I’m Steph, the founder of The Peaceful Place Yoga, and I teach gentle Hatha yoga with a clear focus on kindness, honesty, and slowing things down.

My teaching is rooted in the belief that yoga isn’t about perfect poses or pushing yourself into shapes. It’s about learning how to listen to your body, soften your breath, and meet yourself exactly where you are. This approach hasn’t just shaped my teaching,  it’s been essential in supporting me to move more comfortably and confidently with an arthritic back, and it’s why I place such importance on mindful, sustainable movement.

I create calm, grounding classes that offer space to move gently, pause, and reconnect,  without pressure or expectation. My aim is always to help people feel supported to work with their bodies, rather than against them.

I weave simple yogic philosophy into my teaching in a way that feels relatable and real, drawing on everyday life and lived experience. My teaching style is nurturing but purposeful, offering clear guidance while always encouraging choice, self-trust, and respect for individual bodies.

Slowing down is at the heart of my work. In a world that constantly asks us to do more and be more, my classes offer a chance to step out of that pace and come back to yourself. People often tell me they leave feeling calmer, steadier, and more at home within themselves — both physically and emotionally.

At the core of everything I do is a simple intention: to create a safe, supportive space where people can be themselves, slow down, and grow in their own time.

I love to hold space for you in accessible spaces in the Long Sutton area.
